We are seeking a highly experienced Data Engineer to join a remote development team With solid experience in Backend Engineer to build a scalable data pipeline from scratch. The project is in its early architecture phase, so we are looking for someone independent and proactive to deliver end-to-end solutions. You\'ll join a fast-growing international team leveraging hardware and software to transform physical spaces with data-driven insights.

Project scope:

• Create scalable data pipelines and real-time processing solutions
• Shape the project\'s data architecture from the beginning
• Bring together data from a variety of sources (sensor data, e-commerce, weather feeds, third-party APIs)
• Work with Data Science specialists to operationalize predictive models, such as traffic and occupancy forecasting
• Prepare the groundwork for future adoption of Apache Flink for streaming processing
• Maintain high standards for data quality, security, and performance within a GCP-based setup
