Head of Commercial (Renewable Energy)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive a high volume of client visits, proposals and contract signings to achieve sales and contribution margin targets

  • Manage and develop the Commercial Team, ensuring efficient fieldwork and high performance aligned with company goals

  • Define and monitor KPIs (daily/weekly/monthly) to track team performance and provide accurate reporting to the Commercial Director

  • Research and identify new business opportunities in line with the company's strategic direction

  • Spend 60% of time in the field, supporting and coaching the team, and meeting clients face-to-face

  • Conduct sales meetings (onsite and virtual) to present our energy solutions and explore new business

  • Understand client needs and tailor offers in collaboration with the Commercial Engineering and Technical Teams

  • Maintain and develop long-term, value-driven client relationships

  • Ensure a high level of service quality, promoting responsiveness, clarity, and client satisfaction

  • Present and negotiate proposals including commercial terms with the support of technical experts

  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences

  • Ensure CRM and other sales monitoring systems are used effectively and updated regularly

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients in your portfolio, maintaining open and proactive communication

  • Promote and enforce company quality policies (SGI) and contribute to a culture of excellence

  • Support the continuous improvement of commercial processes and strategies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar commercial leadership role within the renewable energy (OZE) sector

  • Proven track record in B2B sales and business development

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and support high-performing teams

  • Solid experience working with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools

  • Advanced skills in Power BI, PowerPoint and Excel for reporting and strategy development

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus

  • Deep understanding of green energy technologies, especially photovoltaics and energy storage

  • Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills

  • Willingness and availability to travel frequently for client meetings and conferences

  • Strong analytical thinking and a data-driven approach to decision-making
