Project scope:

Process and validate geospatial datasets, including schema checks for user uploads
Develop and maintain WebGIS applications, including both frontend and backend components
Deploy, manage, and maintain geospatial databases
Provide ongoing maintenance and support for WebGIS tools, applications, and systems

Requirements:

Strong understanding of geospatial data, including topology, spatial data structures, and cartographic principles
Experience with online rendering of vector, raster, and basemap layers
Proficiency in spatial databases such as PostgreSQL (PostGIS), SQL Server, or MySQL
Solid programming skills in SPSS, Python, R, or JavaScript
Hands-on experience with QGIS; familiarity with the Trends. Earth plugin is a plus
Experience using open-source platforms for spatial data and interactive mapping (e.g., MapServer, GeoServer, OpenLayers)
Englis: min B2 ; German is a plus
